In everyday life we are talking about quality issues. Often amongst us assume that the majority of foreign-made product quality is better than the quality of domestic products. Or unconsciously we often comment that “well-earned goods / clothing / food or anything we say a product of inferior human beings”. The basic question is “what quality really is”? Answer this question very much, because its meaning will be different for each person and depends on the context. Quality itself has a lot of criteria that are constantly changing.
To answer that, sometimes we can necessarily say anything goods will be qualified if: the delicious taste of food or according to taste, hygiene, eating appropriate portion sizes, choice of the types (menu) cuisine, speed of service, friendly waiters, comfort and security environment, the appropriate price. These examples is one aspect of quality, namely in the form of results. Questions about whether a product or service meets or even exceeds the expectations of consumers / customers is an important aspect in quality.
In addition the term also known as Fitness for use, which has two main aspects, namely;

The characteristics of products that meet customer demands. Higher quality enables companies to improve customer satisfaction, making the products sold, can compete with competitors, increase market share and sales volume, and can be sold at higher prices.
High quality companies can reduce error rates, reduce rework and waste, reduce warranty costs, reduce customer dissatisfaction, reduced inspection and testing, shorten product delivery time to market, increase yield and capacity, and improve the delivery of products or services.

Concept of application of quality in the field of food in a broad sense to use a variety of interpretations, including that quality is a combination of product attributes are assessed in organoleptic (color, texture, taste and smell). From the aspect of consumer products used by consumers to opt in total, that quality is considered as the degree of consumer acceptance of products that are consumed repeatedly (uniform or consistent in the standards and specifications), especially the nature organoleptic . Quality can also be assessed as satisfaction (demand and prices) are obtained from the integrity of consumer products manufacturers produced. While the definition of quality based on ISO / DIS 8402-1992, the overall characteristics of a form if it is a product, activity, process, organization or person, which indicates its ability to meet the needs that have been determined.
